“Repent, for the kingdom of
heaven is at hand!” (Matthew 3:2, NKJV)
Awakenings start with
repentant hearts. Therefore, it must begin with me. Not someone else – but me.
It’s time I understood the verse above more clearly. It’s not the church in
America that needs to repent – it is me. The earth is groaning; the Kingdom is
at hand. What then shall we do? Repent!
Prayer: Father, give me a broken heart for my sin. Cause the church in America to be
swept with a spirit of repentance, for the Kingdom is at hand. Amen.
